An alternative to Gincore and RO App: an honest comparison
How ServiceCenterSoft differs from Gincore and RO App: prices from their websites, where they are stronger, where we are, and who each one suits.

If you are choosing repair shop software for Ukraine or Eastern Europe, you have almost certainly looked at Gincore and RO App (formerly RemOnline). Both are strong products with large teams. This page is not about them being bad. It is about how we differ, where they are better, and which one suits whom.
Competitors’ prices and features are taken from their own websites as of September 2026. They change — check their site before you decide.
Price: per workshop or per person
| ServiceCenterSoft | Gincore | RO App | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it is charged | per workshop | per plan with a user limit | per plan + each user and location over the limit |
| Cheapest paid plan with repair jobs | $20 / month | €19.99 / month, 2 users | €29 / month (All-in-One), 3 users |
| A six-person workshop | $20 / month | €29.99 / month (up to 7) | €29 + 3 × €7 = €50 / month |
| A second branch | no extra charge | — | +€9 / month per location |
| Free | no | 1 employee, 30 orders a month | no |
| Try it | demo without sign-up, 14-day refund | 14 days | 7 days |
RO App’s prices are in euros excluding VAT, with 10% off for a year. Paying for a year is cheaper with us too; the amounts are on the pricing page.
The takeaway is simple: the more people in the workshop, the bigger the gap. For a lone technician who needs no more than thirty repairs a month, free Gincore is the cheapest of all.
Where Gincore and RO App are stronger
- A free plan. Gincore is free while you have up to thirty repairs a month. We have no free plan.
- Mobile apps. RO App has iOS and Android apps. We have no separate app: the software opens in the phone’s browser and its lists and cards are built for it, but it is not an app from the store.
- SMS and messengers. Both send customers SMS about their repair, RO App also via WhatsApp. We have no SMS: when the device is ready we send an email and a Telegram message (the customer subscribes via the QR code on the ticket), plus a portal where they see the status themselves. We do not notify on every status change.
- Stock with balances. Both count how many parts are left; RO App also across several stores and by serial number. Our stock is a log of deliveries — what, at what price and from whom — but the balance does not go down by itself.
- Point of sale, online booking, integrations. RO App has a point of sale, online booking and many integrations, and payroll and an API on higher plans. We have none of these.
- Scale. They have teams adding something every month. If you run a chain of dozens of locations and need all of that at once, look at them.
Where we are stronger
- One price for the whole workshop. No extra charge per technician or for a second branch. Hire a new front-desk person — the bill stays the same.
- Ukrainian paperwork. The intake receipt and the completion certificate follow Ukrainian rules, and you can edit them right in the software: your own wording, repair terms, logo and company details — each branch its own.
- Custom work for you. Every customer has their own copy of the software. Need your own field, report or form — we build it in your copy, priced separately. Big cloud services cannot do that: there is one program for everyone.
- Nothing extra. Intake, repair, parts, collection, output per technician. Set up in an evening, train a front-desk person in an hour.
- Customer portal. Customers see which stage their repair is at and stop calling ten times.
- In use since 2016. Service centres use it every day, including ones doing manufacturer warranty repairs.

Which one suits whom
- A lone technician, up to thirty repairs a month, counting every cent — free Gincore.
- You need a point of sale, online booking, SMS, a mobile app and stock balances right now — RO App.
- A workshop of several people or several branches that wants simplicity, a predictable price and Ukrainian paperwork — ServiceCenterSoft.
- Your way of working fits no ready-made software — us too: we will adapt it for you.
How to switch
Try the software in the demo — no sign-up: book a device in the way you do at your shop. If it fits, your old repairs can be moved over: export your data from Gincore or RO App to a spreadsheet and we will estimate what to move. Get in touch.
Frequently asked questions
Does ServiceCenterSoft have a free plan like Gincore?
How do I switch from Gincore or RO App without losing history?
Export customers and repairs from your current software to a spreadsheet — as far as it allows — and send us a sample. We will estimate what can be moved and load the customers, devices and repair history. You can also skip the move: finish old repairs there and book new ones with us.
Is there a mobile app like RO App’s?
There is no separate app. The software opens in the phone’s browser: lists, job cards and intake are built for a small screen. To open it with one tap, add the page to your phone’s home screen.
Does the software text customers about their repair?
Not yet. When the device is ready the customer gets an email, and in the customer portal they can see the repair stage themselves. If SMS is a must for you, get in touch and we will talk it through.
Can I issue a fiscal receipt from the software?
No, there is no till or fiscal register in the software. Issue the fiscal receipt in your own register and record the payment on the job — money reports are built from the jobs.
What will it cost with ten people and three branches?
The same as for one technician: the price is per workshop, with no extra charge per employee or per branch. The amounts are on the pricing page.
